Want to Make a Difference? When I was a child, there were so many wonderful people in the church who taught Sunday School and led Vacation Bible School. I know that part of the reason I love the church so much today is because of the influence and faith that those persons shared with me. They prepared lessons and crafts and taught us to sing and to love the Bible. They loved us and helped us to see that our faith would be an important resource in our lives. I’m not sure at the time I was aware of what a wonderful gift they were giving to me, but as an adult I am very grateful to each of them because they cared enough to teach me and the other children of our church our faith. They made a big difference in my life. Our church is always looking for good teachers and leaders. We are looking for some people who believe that it is important to teach faith to our children. We are looking for some of you who believe that faith in Jesus Christ needs to be shared with the children and youth of our congregation. We are looking for some people to make a difference. Vacation Bible School will be June 16-20, 9am - noon. If you would like to help teach, lead, or shepherd our children, please call Carol Bowe at 436-6336. We are also in need of volunteers to help with children and youth during the Sunday School hour (especially this summer). You do not need to be a biblical scholar nor a spiritual giant. All that is required is that you have a willing heart and a desire to make a difference in the lives of the children who are growing up in our church today.
