Overnight Trips
KidzQuest is a weekend retreat at the UM Conference Center, Epworth by the Sea, at St. Simon’s Island. This is a weekend of worship, fellowship and recreation, and it takes place in the fall and is for 3rd-5th graders.

SeaWorld is an overnight trip to Orlando, FL, for 3rd-5th graders. Children sleep in the SeaWorld park, learn about the animals, and then enjoy a day in the park before coming home.
F.F.G.O. Destination Unknown (Mystery Trip) is a graduation trip for our 5th graders that have participated in For Fifth Graders Only. It is an overnight trip held in the spring to a destination unknown by the children.
Summer Elementary Camp at Epworth-by-the-Sea- Each summer, we take interested rising 4th through 6th grade children to camp at Epworth-by-the-Sea at St. Simons Island, Georgia. Epworth is a camp owned by the South Georgia conference of the United Methodist Church. We take the children to camp on Monday in the Porterfield church vans and pick them up on Friday. Cost is generally about $225 for the week, and scholarships are available.
