Welcome to Porterfield
We believe it is important for you to find a home here at Porterfield. We also believe that relationships are the foundation of any true home. When you worship with us we want to provide you with a safe environment for you to begin relationships and to ask questions about the Christian faith, the differences and similarities between Wesleyan thought and other traditions, the structure and history of The United Methodist Church, how to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ and about plugging in and becoming a member of Porterfield.
Our Welcome to Porterfield! class is designed to provide this environment. Meeting at 10:15am on Sunday mornings for four weeks, this class helps you to begin building relationships here at Porterfield and allows you to think about what it means to make a covenant commitment to a Christian community.
We encourage anyone interested in joining Porterfield to begin that process with this class. If you are not ready to begin the membership conversation this class is still a valuable resource as you seek to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ. To register, email Josh.
